Foraging Classes Begin in May!

Spring is finally arriving after a long and cold winter, and with it begin foraging classes from the North Country Food Alliance! Classes will occur twice monthly starting in May. On Saturday, May 3 and May 17 there will be garlic mustard cooking classes held in partnership with the Minneapolis Parks Department. Garlic mustard is an invasive plant that threatens the woodland ecosystems of eastern North America. Attend a garlic mustard pull held by the Friends of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden to help manage this plant first, learning proper identification and harvesting techniques. Then join us in the kitchen as we transform it into a delicious and healthful meal!
