Emergency Funds Needed for Coronavirus Support

Will you help us be there for the food insecure in these trying times? Today, perhaps more than most, we are counting on you.

For the health and safety of our workers and the community, we have suspended our door-to-door fundraising operation for the time being. However, this represents a significant loss of income for NCFA and places a considerable strain on our resources. Will you please make an urgent gift to feed the most vulnerable among us?

We are determined to continue providing fresh food to those in need. Our Foodshare Coordinator, Nick, is currently working with local restaurants to secure produce they would otherwise throw away before closing their doors. He is moving upwards of one thousand pounds of food every weekday to area food shelves, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens.

On Friday we rescued six hundred pounds of fresh carrots and broccoli from the Leeann Chin warehouse, in addition to our regular pick ups.

This vital work can only continue with community funding, which has been greatly reduced since ceasing door-to-door operations. We are therefore turning to you—a generous and compassionate supporter of NCFA. Please make a contribution today so that we can continue feeding our neighbors in need.
