Officially Incorporated!

The Minnesota Secretary of State accepted our Articles of Incorporation today, so we are officially a non-profit! Very exciting news! We also filed for and received our Employer Identification Number from the IRS, formed a bank account, and are receiving a machine to accept credit cards. Furthermore, we had an outreach committee meeting in which we edited flyers, discussed websites and email marketing, brainstormed other groups to work with, made a press plan, and more! It was a busy day, but tomorrow will be even busier, as we will file our paperwork with the Minnesota Attorney General and expect to start canvassing! In addition, we have a foraging workshop happening at 3 pm. All this hustle and bustle is very invigorating! We are happy as clams.
